April 2022: A ✅ indicates the business has signed up to paying their industrial design interns the living wage, signing up to our pledge. Complete clarity on internship salaries across all businesses on the directory will be phased in.

March 2022: Design Truth has donated all directory revenue for March to Ukraine. £1050.

So welcome to ‘The UK Map of Industrial Design.’

Finding work, the student placement, the next client, the first client - it can be exhausting.

This directory is designed to make that process a little less tiring.

Now we hope you have no problems navigating your way through the map, but we all have our moments (or it is genuinely our fault) so feel free to message hello@designtruth.co.uk and we will get back to you.

There is a small charge to join the map. This small contribution goes towards the software costs, as well as time spent fiddling around with pictures.

• £75 (+vat) as a one-off fee to join the design directory.

• £250 (+vat) to advertise a vacancy on the directory. This will also feature on our vacancies page & across Design Truth’s LinkedIn & Instagram.

It is free to advertise a design internship or student placement.

If you are a business not on the list, again fire an email to hello@designtruth.co.uk. We will need your logo, one image (maybe some work you have done, a killer render, or the studio for example) and a blurb about the company. Keep it snappy.

After all, design eyes worldwide look at this directory. If you are thinking about relocating or wanting to work with a new (or first) industrial design agency then there is so much for you to take here. Even if it is to spy on the competition.
